       Carbon monoxide from natural gas is composed of three parts: natural gas steam reforming to transform gas, conversion gas to remove carbon dioxide (CO2) and carbon monoxide (CO) to purify. The natural gas was converted to hydrogen (H2), carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) converted gas at the temperature of 850~930 ℃ after mixing with natural gas and water vapor under the action of nickel catalyst. Then the converted gas is removed by MDEA decarburization, and the carbon dioxide removed is returned to the inlet of the reformer. High purity carbon monoxide and hydrogen can be obtained by pressure swing adsorption (PSA) or membrane separation technology after converted gas. The steam conversion of natural gas is the conversion of natural gas into hydrogen (H2), carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) converted gas with steam as oxidant under the action of nickel catalyst. This process is endothermic process, so the external heat supply is needed, and the heat required for the conversion is supplied by the fuel gas which is burned in the radiation section of the reformer.
